Today, in Mrs. B's kindergarten class, several students adopted a desk pet. This privilege involved signing a contract and spending 25 of their hard earned school bucks. Next step will be naming their pet and buying food for it.

This week’s student of the week is Brytin Lafave. Brytin is a fifth grade student who is incredibly outgoing and a pleasure to have in class. He is a dedicated student and is always willing to help. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and working hard in order to achieve his goals at school. He likes recess and enjoys playing basketball. He has been a great role model for his peers in Mr. Thornton’s and Mrs. Staley’s classes. When he’s not at school he enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, and riding his bike. He participated in Bay Cliff Health Camp this summer and made many new friends. Congratulations Brytin!

ATTENTION K-6 Parents, The orders from our recent fundraiser will be delivered on 10/24/2024, so if your child participated in selling items, please make sure that your students are prepared to take their orders home next Thursday. Each student's order comes in an individually packaged box with handles to make it easy to carry. Some boxes may be heavy though, and some students may have more than one box, so please make sure your student has a way to get their order home. Thank you! Sincerely, KENDRA FELDHUSEN

This week’s student of the week is Kindergarten student Isabelle Wheeler. She is an absolute joy to have in Mrs. Browning’s class. She doesn’t give up when work seems complicated and is always willing to help those in need. She is a great friend to her classmates and enjoys playing with them at recess. Her favorite things about school are Number Corner (math) time, painting, giving hugs, and earning classroom incentive bucks. She looks forward to spending these bucks on a Desk Pet. She also enjoys Read-Aloud time. So far, her favorite book is Dragon’s Fat Cat by Dav Pilkey. In addition, she enjoys working on craft projects in class and learning about our SuperKids characters and various animals for our Animal Election. When she’s not in school she enjoys playing with her sisters. Macaroni and cheese tops the list of food favorites and purple is her favorite color.
