Mrs. Zolfahari has chosen Avner Yenna for student of the week. He is the son of Hollis and Rachel Yenna. He has two brothers and one sister. Avner currently plays basketball and likes to fish. He is a creative student who takes pride in his work and has a positive can-do attitude. He is a fantastic listener and shows respect towards both his teacher and his peers. Avner’s desire to learn is evident and I can count on him to be a calm, enjoyable presence in my class. Thank you Avner for your effort you put into your learning each day and being an awesome student!

He has been selected because of his friendly attitude and his passion for learning. Olen comes to school every morning with a smile on his face and motivates his peers to do the same. Olen always gives 100% effort when completing his schoolwork and is a wonderful role model for his classmates.
