Yesterday we voted!! We learned about 7 animals since the beginning of the school year. We even learned a song sung to the tune of "Old McDonald". 🎶 The boys and girls had an election, V O T E, Vote! For their favorite animal, V O T E, vote! With an elephant here, tiger there, lion, zebra, even a bear, maybe a monkey or giraffe, V O T E, vote! As you can tell by the tallies, the Tiger WON!

Mrs. Havens has chosen Kennedi Hoder as the Newberry Elementary Student of the Week. She is the daughter of Kayla and Ken Hoder. She has been selected because she consistently has a positive attitude, her work is always top-notch, and she is always willing to help in the classroom whenever and however she can. At school, she loves to draw and read. When she’s not in school, she likes to spend time with her Great Dane, Daisy. Her favorite color is blue. Her favorite food is cheeseburgers. I’m proud of you Kennedi; keep up the great work!
