Happy & sad times down here in kinder-land....had a windy picnic and said goodbye to our amazing helper Ms. Rachel 🥰

Students from Mrs. Dubay's environmental science class were able to partner with the Michigan DNR to complete an invasive species project funded by MISGP (Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program) at the Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Students did a full rebuild on a boot brush station at the trailhead of the upper falls as well added on to a boot brush station at the trailhead of the lower falls. Students also aided park rangers in a roadside cleanup between the two entrances to the falls. The students hope the work done will help to reduce the spread of invasive species onto and off of the trails by visitors to the park!
