We are excited to be able to put some books in the hands of kids this summer! Reading Street, the reading series that Newberry Area Schools was using in grades K-5, is being discontinued and we are piloting a new one for grades K-2 during the 2022-2023 school year. The books from Reading Street are still in great condition and they are full of wonderful stories for kids to read! So, rather than throwing these books away, we are going to make them available for children to take home! Please encourage your child to take some of these books to enjoy reading over the summer.
Sumer is here!! Sign-up for a summer reading adventure at Tahquamenon Area Public Library. The summer reading program begins June 13. Stop in the library to register and for more information about the adventure, fantasy ad mystery options!
There will be five vacant School Board positions that will be on the November 8, 2022 ballot. Once elected, responsibilities begin January 2023. Please consider this great opportunity to support your local school district. More information here.... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TSMkOhhhEVYcHPnMzGyiGGl5hnHM5G0B/view?usp=sharing
