Summer school parents for session II starting Monday, July 11, 2022. Dropping and picking up students will be in the front of the school. This change is due to the roofing project that will be starting on Monday, July 11, 2022. We appreciate your cooperation in this change. We ask for your patience the first day as we will have the school bus loading and unloading in the front of the building also. There will be someone out there assisting with the flow of traffic.

We put math aside for a special visitor at summer school today, Ava the husky. Also, put Ms. Ellory to work today playing a classic math game “toothy”….

Thank you to NAMA for a wonderful picnic lunch! Also, a big thank you to the community services for bringing out the ambulance, fire truck, and police car! The sixth graders enjoyed it all.

We are excited to be able to put some books in the hands of kids this summer! Reading Street, the reading series that Newberry Area Schools was using in grades K-5, is being discontinued and we are piloting a new one for grades K-2 during the 2022-2023 school year. The books from Reading Street are still in great condition and they are full of wonderful stories for kids to read! So, rather than throwing these books away, we are going to make them available for children to take home! Please encourage your child to take some of these books to enjoy reading over the summer.
